Male/female figures
Spent an hour this morning sketching even though I had only scheduled 30 minutes. Looking forward to getting back into the groove!

My first sketch is up for your challenge. I see that you are on your way too! Way to go.
I like the idea of accountability, otherwise I tend to think about it more often than do it.

So much for being a wordsmith! I simply meant that I had snuck in another 30 minutes on top of the 30 I had scheduled for myself. So yes... it was FUNtastic! I enjoyed myself thoroughly. It was my day off of work today and I got writing, sketching, and photography in. Feel the juices flow!
I came by to visit from Anetka's blog and I really enjoyed your blog. I loved that it has great sketches and fantastic photography and life lessons, and poetry. You are an all around man for sure!! Keep up the good work.
These are cool Mark...I have been thinking of trying "Posemaniacs"...a feed for your blog that gives you a different pose a day...just thought it might be something interesting for you as well...:)
I'm racing to the finish of my Art Instruction School (AIS) course and the last part is the human body. Not sure if this is something I want to keep up with everyday, but for now, it's a great challenge!
Good work on those figures. I believe drawing is like weight lifting--you don't progress and grow steadily unless you challenge yourself (heavy weights, hard drawings). To me figures and faces are challenging, hence the best practice out there, with the possible exception of buildings which require prespective.

Spending extra time drawing or sketching is never cheating! It is living the moment just a little bit longer. Live a little!
I hold you accountable:)! I try to sketch everyday and am currantly keeping a journal just to make myself do it. I think your hour really paid off:)!
