Drawing... just because

Thanks to some inspiration I got from the Everyday Matters Yahoo Group, I've decided to start posting my work as a way to motivate myself to take on this great challenge of breaking mental barriers. I'm learning how to draw, just because. Because it's what I want to do... because I love to put ink on paper... because it's been bugging me for years and I don't want my tombstone to read, "I wish I would have..."

That is a splendid reason to learn anything! I hope you enjoy being part of EDM. These first drawings of yours are great!

Thanks, E-J. Looking forward to the journey. Tough thing to say coming from a destination guy.

I will try to draw...just because. You inspire me Kwaz!! You have been brave enough to try more things than I ever could. Take basic training, for example. It would have messed my hair and I would have had to drop out.

Well done for taking the plunge. We all have to practise to get better and you've found a great way to motivate yourself. Your drawings are really good for a beginner!

I'm the same way.... I've been interested in copper enameling and have begun making plans to begin. I applaud you for beginning a relaxing way to create great masterpieces!
