Juggling a few assignments, I move on to Henrietta. Wow... what a hairdo! This exercise is about foreshortening and of course continues building on the skills of drawing the figure. I was able to rough out her form in line this morning and will building on her the next few days. Now if I can just get a hairstylist in to help her with that mop!
And seeing these pictures side by side, I can already see where I need to make adjustments. FUN!

your drawings are beautiful but I am partial to photography. I could never draw and still can't. I like the new layout...seems it has been longer than I thought since I visited. I responded to your comment here...

have a fabulous day.
Wow Mark! She's lookin good so far. Look forward to seeing more. Foreshortening is HARD! Good luck finding a hairstylist:-)!
I have trouble with just the shading on some of my figure art drawings, for some reason when I try to get realistic with a few of my nude drawings they always end up into cartoons.
Am anxious to see you finish this up...good start.
