So this is the beginning of my final portfolio for AIS (Art Instruction School). One of the first projects is to design a business card. Had a heck of a time figuring out some decent lettering after having experimented with quite a few. Then the cartoon figure... looks just like me!
It's a work in progress and hopefully I'll have everything done by the end of February. Well, that's my goal anyway...

great start! keep your ideas coming and be opened to anything that comes to your head (even if it seems stupid at the beginning).

Keep it up! I agree with Anetka! I hated thumbnailing in design school in the beginning, and by the time I graduated I was an addict. You never know if it's going to be the first or last sketch that going to give you inspiration. There are no stupid ideas. Can't wait to see your final!
